Why You Should Elect Me

• This election will be very close. We don’t know who will form Government after 28 November 2026.

• This means that voting for anyone other than an independent candidate will risk having a Member for Macedon who has no access to Government for the next 4 years. That could be a wasted vote. Also, if you vote for a major party candidate, you are voting for a person who has very strong allegiance to their party, and that party is undoubtedly influenced by lobbyists and campaign donors.

• Only independent members of State Parliament will work solely for their community and the State. My first and only allegiance is to my community, as I have no political party, donor or lobbyist telling me what to do or say. I will only listen to you, my community. That is not the case for candidates representing a political party.

• I will not be accepting any donations, I am 100% self-funded. This avoids any conflicts of interests.

• If I am elected, voters can be assured that I will work with the elected Government to help reduce debt responsibly, resolve pressing issues ignored by the current Government, and promote the best interests of the Macedon electorate. Because I’d be an Independent Member of Parliament, I’d be able to do that, irrespective of which party forms Government.

• I will work for your needs, not a party’s desires, and be totally accountable to the Macedon community that I represent. I will always listen to your needs and advocate strongly for those needs.
