About Me

I live in the regional town of Woodend in the Macedon Ranges and have lived in Victoria for 25 years.

I worked in the superannuation industry for 35 years. I was Chief Executive of two large superannuation funds - Australian Government Employees Superannuation Trust (known as “AGEST Super”) and Military Super.

These roles included responsibility for the investment management of billions of dollars, solely for the benefit of the fund members. My team was always focused on doing the best we could for the people whose money we were managing. That’s how governments should operate, but some governments seem to forget this.

I recently retired from work. However I am keen to give back to the community, as I still have plenty of energy and it’s time for people from outside the murky political system to step up and help save Victoria from going backwards even further.

Just like I’ve done throughout my professional career, I’ll throw myself into the role of Member for Macedon with vigour, rigour and integrity.

I’ll always be authentic and transparent with the community, there’ll be no lies or spin from me. I will always welcome and listen closely to your input.

I am a genuine candidate who will work constructively with whichever party (or parties) form Government, to change what needs to be changed for a better Victoria. If there is a minority Government and I have the balance of power, I will use it wisely, constructively and openly.
