I am not aligned to any political party, donor or lobbyist.

I am a committed, fresh voice for Macedon and Victoria - a genuine, positive alternative to party politicians.

I am truly independent – 100% self-funded – I will not accept donations from anyone - this ensures that I have no conflicts of interest (in fact I don’t know how anyone can be “independent” if they accept donations!).

I want the dangerously high level of State debt reduced to save future generations from financial hardship.

I am a former government superannuation fund chief executive, with the financial management skills and integrity to help fix what’s gone wrong with Victoria. It’s a big task, but if we get the right people in Parliament, it can be done and it needs to be done. Financial discipline and integrity must start now, before it’s too late.

I want the years of broken promises and reckless spending to stop. Over $1.5 billion was wasted by not proceeding with the East - West Tunnel in Melbourne and by cancelling the 2026 Commonwealth Games that should have been held in regional Victoria this year. That was taxpayer money poorly managed, down the drain. This waste needs to stop.

I am positive about the future and will personally donate $10,000 every quarter to not-for-profit, community organisations in the Macedon electorate whilst I am the local Member. A Member of Parliament gets a very good salary, so I feel that it’s only fitting that I give back a significant part of that salary to worthy not-for-profit organisations in my community.

After a long and successful career, I am totally committed to the task of helping to turn Victoria around and serving the Macedon district community.
